Odd Thoughts and Wonderings

Hello everyone!  I hope all of you are doing well!  Today let's be random and strange together!  :)

Sometimes...a lot of the time...I over think anything and everything.  That is especially true for when I have down time.  I just wanted to share with you some of my very random and peculiar thoughts!  You're more than welcome to comment and tell me what you think of them, or add your own thoughts!

1.  Wouldn't it be crazy if Bruce Wayne (Batman, in case you didn't know) had a multiple personality disorder to the point where he thought he was both Batman and the Joker?!  I know that's a very abstract idea, but honestly wouldn't that be insane?  I thought about that because of the quote from Dark Knight where the Joker says, "I don't want to kill you!  What would I do without you?  Go back to ripping off mob dealers?  No, no, no!  No.  You...you complete me."  Mix that quote with the other quote from the same movie where he states, "Oh, you.  You just couldn't let me go, could you?  This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.  You are truly incorruptible, aren't you?  Huh?  You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness.  And I won't kill you because you're just too much fun.  I think you and I are destined to do this forever."  From what the Joker states, if you look at it from the point I am posing, then you can see how this is a plausible idea for one to have.  Also, there is no clear understood back story for the Joker.  He just rose up, even in the comics.  He is constantly changing the story of how it all happened.  If he was a second personality, he wouldn't have an origin.  He would have just risen from the host personality (Bruce Wayne/Batman).

The Joker accepts that he can not exist without Batman.  If Bruce Wayne did indeed have a multiple personality disorder, it would make sense that the Joker, his second personality, would understand that he could not exist if Batman did not exist because there would be no host for the second personality (the Joker personality) to begin with!  That is all completely not true, obviously, but it is just something to think about.

2.  This is another Batman related thought.  We all know that I'm a big Harry Potter fan.  (Only 52 days until Leaky Con Portland!!!)  Alex Carpenter and Whitney Milam started this series called "Sorted" on their Youtube channels where they take characters or peopled popular in pop culture and media sort them into a house from Hogwarts.  I think they have done Hunger Games characters, the Avengers, and characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  I got to thinking and began wondering where other people would be sorted.  Since they did the Avengers, I began to let myself go into crazy thought mode and guess who's thoughts turned to DC comics?  Yep.  I shared these with a good friend who is a Harry Potter and Batman fan, and at first, she was very startled by my opinions, but she grew to accept them and agreed.  SO NOW I AM SHARING THEM WITH YOU GUYS!  You're welcome.

I think that Batman would totally be a Slytherin.  Don't just immediately start off on the whole, "Taylor!  He is the HERO!  Not the villain!"  Yes, I understand that.  He is a hero, not a villain, albeit he can be a darker hero.  Think about this though.  How many Slytherin's do you know that are low on money?  Slim to none.  Who else has a lot of money?  Bruce Wayne.  Slytherin's are very cunning by nature.  Who else is very cunning?  Batman.  Slytherin's are very ambitious.  Who else is ambitious?  Batman.  Someone tried to argue with me that Batman was not cunning, nor ambitious...I don't understand how he drew that conclusion but here is the counter to that.  Cunning does not mean one is smart in acting quickly with evil or malicious intent.  It simply means, and I quote the definition from the Merriam Webster dictionary: "Dexterous or crafty in the use of special resources (such skill or knowledge) or attaining an end".  I think that fits Batman very well.  He is cunning.  It does not mean he is evil.  I am standing by the fact that he is ambitious as well.  The argument I was given that he was not ambitious was, "He isn't doing it to get fame or anything."  Yes.  I know that.  Ambition is the drive to accomplish something though.  Batman wants to help people, to save people.  I would call that a drive to accomplish something....

I presented these points but was told still, "No.  Batman is a Gryffindor."  I understand where you're coming from, and I can see why.  It is a valid point.  I just feel that Batman is better fitted for Slytherin.  The biggest point for Gryffindor, as to why he should be in it, is that he is brave.  Hello......Severus Snape anyone?  Bravest character in like the whole Harry Potter series?  No.  I don't think so.  Therefore, I feel this point is invalid.  Batman is suave, cunning, ambitious, determined, resourceful, intelligent, and displays leadership qualities.  Those are all word for word Slytherin traits.  A hero can come from Slytherin, and I totally think Batman would have been one.  This is not an insult to Batman, so yeah.  Being in Slytherin isn't bad.

The other character that I sorted that I stirred up some controversy with was how I felt the Joker would be placed.  I really think that the Joker would be a Ravenclaw.  Please do not take this as an insult to Ravenclaws if you're a Ravenclaw.  I'm a Ravenclaw.  I was just honestly thinking things over and here are the reasons why I thought he would be a Ravenclaw.  The Joker is smart.  I know he's crazy, beyond crazy, but he's still a mastermind.  Ravenclaws are all about intelligence.  If the Joker was not intelligent he would not have accomplished any of things he did.  He would be Bane then.  Yes.  I just said that.  All of you people who liked Bane better than the Joker, yes.  That was an insult about Bane.  Fight me on it.  I really don't care.  Anyways, the Joker is extremely intelligent.  I dare you to dispute that, really.  His plans were ingenious.  Also, Ravenclaws tend to very quirky and individualistic.  I think it is very safe to say that the Joker is totally a Ravenclaw.....please tell me at least one of you agrees...

3.  The girl in Hunger Games, Foxface, I don't think her death was an accident.  I know she "accidentally" took the berries that Peeta had taken without realizing they're Nightlock, but c'mon now.  She was kind of the smartest person there.  She clearly showed knowledge in what she could and couldn't eat up until this point, so you're going to tell me that she got caught on such a simple, yet fatal, mistake?  I don't think so.  When she ate the Nightlock and died, the only other people left in the games were Katniss, Peeta, Thresh, and Cato.  Those four were all clearly decent enough when  it came to physical fighting.  I think she was smart and knew that was what it was going to come too, a physical confrontation.  I think she knew who and what she was up against, so instead of waiting for her death to come in a fight, she killed herself.  It makes sense!  She saw the Nightlock as a painless way to end her life in comparison to a brutal fight or some cruel ploy done by the Capitol.  Yes, I think she committed suicide.  I thought Foxface was a genius for the duration of her fight in the games.  She was always one step ahead.  That is the reason I think she killed herself.  She wanted to stay one step ahead of the game through and through, until the very end.

4.  This one is referring to the Walking Dead video game.  Please note that I said video game.  This is not related to the television show or comics.  Also, this will have spoil a key part, so if you're playing it and don't want to know just skip the rest of this theory. This is referring to episode 3, I believe, at the scene where Duck is about to die because he has been bit and will turn into a zombie. For starters, like oh my gosh!  This scene was so terrible!  It was so sad!  If you didn't find this even remotely sad, like not even a tiny bit, you might want to go see the Wizard about getting a heart.  Anyways, when Kenny and Katjaa carry Duck into the woods to say goodbye and you hear the gunshot and the shouting, this where this theory is going to come into play.  We assume and are told that Katjaa killed herself because she couldn't handle the loss of her son.  My thought is though, she handle it so rationally though!  Kenny was the one who was flipping out!  What if when she went to shoot the zombified version of her son, Kenny couldn't handle it so he turned the gun on her?  He was the one protesting the whole thing to begin with.  This one is more of just an abstract concept that flitted across my mind briefly, and honestly, Kat's rationality was probably a sign of what was to come.  I just thought I would share it with you anyways though.

I know these are all really, really abstract, and actually kind of morbid reaching the end of it....but I just thought it might be interesting to see what you all thought!  I will probably do more of these, but for right now, I think that's it!  I hope you all have a lovely day, and come back soon! :)

OH!  If you don't know, I have a Youtube channel now, as well!  So I will be vlogging and blogging!  If you want to go check it out, you can find me at www.youtube.com/AlwaysTaylorAlways

Luke Bryan and LeakyCon!

Hello ladies and gents!  I hope you all are having a lovely day!  Before I get on with what I am going to blog about, I just wanted to thank you all!  You have no idea what it means to me to know that people actually read this and respond to it!  I appreciate it so much and I love all of you!  Now on to the feature presentation!

So, as I mentioned in my last blog, I went to the Luke Bryan concert.  It was last Saturday, which was March 22nd.  I will just be the first to tell you know.....IT WAS AMAZING!  Oh my gosh! It was so fantastic!  I had so much fun, you have no idea!  I'm just going to break it down a little bit and try and express what I thought and felt, that way it is always here.

For starters, I went to the concert at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville.  I don't know why that's important, but now you know.  It was fully enclosed though, thankfully.  I had made a tank top for the concert, assuming it would be warmer since it would be spring.  That assumption was terribly wrong and it was freezing outside, but I wasn't outside so it turned out alright!  Our seats were decent.  They were in the upper level, but the view wasn't obstructed....until people showed up.  In case you don't know, I'm ridiculously short.  I'm five foot, in case you really want to be specific.  These two beyond wasted couples ended up in front of us and, yep, you called it, they were tall.  I stood on my tip toes for most of it, but other than that our seats weren't bad.  Anyways....moving on!

Florida Georgia Line opened and as I have mentioned before, I love Florida Georgia Line.  If you ever wonder or worry that someone isn't as good live as they are recorded then let me tell you, they are fan-freaking-tastic live.  They were totally awesome! (If you caught the reference to AVPM in that statement then you are totally awesome by default, of course.)  I was thoroughly happy with their performance and really wished it lasted longer than it did.  My favorite songs by them did translate into my favorites that they performed which were Cruise, Get Your Shine On, and Dayum Baby.  If you don't know who Florida Georgia Line are, I suggest you go listen to them.

After Florida Georgia Line, Thompson Square performed.  They were alright.  I don't dislike Thompson Square.  Honestly.  I don't have anything against them; I just don't particularly love them.  I only know like two of their songs, which probably helped contribute to this apathy I had while they performed.  To put it simply, after seeing Florida Georgia Line perform, I was bored during the Thompson Square set.  If you're a big fan of them, then I'm sorry.  I'm sure you would have gotten a lot more out of their performance than I did, but they aren't the reason why I went, which brings me too...........................

LUKE FREAKIN BRYAN!  (Again, if you caught my reference to AVPS then well done.)  This was the highlight of everything.  Like seriously, everything.  He is an absolutely freaking amazing performer.  I was so impressed.  I'm struggling trying to put into words how extremely happy and impressed I was, and I'm failing miserably.  So please, just hang with me here.  His setlist was amazing.  He covered Metallica, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, and Taio Cruz.  That was one of the coolest things ever.  He brought out a special guest, and that was flipping amazing.  The whole thing was really, really awesome.  Oh also, because I almost forgot, Luke Bryan can dance.  That in itself is ridiculously impressive.  He's just....he is something.  I love Luke Bryan you guys, seriously.  He is just, wow.  That's a good word for it, I feel.  Wow.  He did not disappoint me. not one bit.  I don't know if I could pick out songs like I liked over the others because the whole thing was so amazing but if I had to choose a few Dirt Road Diaries, Drunk On You, Someone Else Calling You Baby, Do I, I Don't Want This Night To End, and Country Girl.  I know that's a lot, but I loved every song he performed, not just those.  Those are just some of my favorites in general.  The whole thing was amazing, and it was just a really fantastic experience.  Oh!  Again, adding a little snippet in!  He makes this like purring noise almost, I guess, when he sings every so often?  Yep.  Let us use that word again, shall we?  Wow.

All in all, the concert was one of the greatest things ever.  At one point I had to be "babysat" for a short bit of time by a friend because apparently I will get lost if I'm on my own or something.  If you are that person, which you do know who you are I should assume, thanks for making sure I didn't get lost or kidnapped or something.  I apologize for being awkward and awkwardly quiet.  I'm just kind of socially awkward in general.  Anyways, thanks! :)  There are more thanks to be addressed.  Thank you so so much to my parents who got me the tickets for Christmas.  That was probably one of the greatest presents EVER.  I love you guys!  Do you want to know what the other greatest present ever was?

MY TICKET TO LEAKYCON!  Guys!  LeakyCon is in exactly 90 days from today which is March 29th right now as I write this.  It reached the three month mark the other day!  Oh my gosh!  I'm freaking out!  Thank you so so much to Sam and Brandon for getting me the ticket and being stubborn people who won't let me help out with anything! ;P  I love you guys too!  LeakyCon is going to be so freakin awesome!  MINISTRY OF MAGIC AND ALEX CARPENTER.  I don't know if I can handle myself.  This is too much for me.  Oh, and the Lizzie Bennett Diaries!  I just felt like telling everyone!

So to finish everything up, if you get the opportunity to attend a Luke Bryan concert, you should go.  Definitely.  Without a doubt.  If you get the opportunity to go to LeakyCon, you should definitely go.  If you're going to LeakyCon Portland you should tell me or something!  :)  Thanks to everyone that made the Luke Bryan concert memorable.  It was ridiculously blissfully amazing.  Thanks to LeakyCon for being LeakyCon.  It is going to be amazing.

So to finish things up, remember these two things.  1. I love each and every one of you as much as I love Luke Bryan because you have read this entire thing, and I really appreciate that! :) 2.  Play life like Gryffindor plays Quidditch.  Always win!  (Yes, I do understand they don't always win, but come on.  Practically always.)

You will be hearing from me again very soon as I am on break now!  Thankfully!  Until then though, go check me out on Youtube!  I'm vlogging on there.  :)  Go check me out at: http://www.youtube.com/user/AlwaysTaylorAlways

Have a nice day guys!  Let's finish this up with a quote from Alex Carpenter!  "Until next time, be brilliant!"  :)

Hard To Love

Hey guys.  It's been a really long time...and I'm really sorry for that.  Things have been crazy, especially school.  Anyways....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!  JOYEUSE SAINT VALENTIN!  JE VOUS AIME TOUS!

How's your Valentine's Day going, huh?  :)  Mine's alright, thanks.  I know that you probably don't care, but I felt like sharing anyways, so now you know!  I'd like to know how Valentine's Day is going for all of you though!  Feel free to leave that in a comment or something.  :)

So, in case you guys didn't know, it is okay to not have a Valentine on Valentine's Day.  I don't, not that means anything to you but still.  I mean, I have my dog, but I don't think that counts.  I've listened to a lot of people complaining about how they have no Valentine or no date or whatever.  That isn't the point.  Not at all.  So long as you have family and friends, what more could you need?  Another thing, if you're happy with yourself, you don't need anyone else to make you happy.  If you do need someone else in order to be happy, you should really think about that, because when it comes down to it, you should be able to be happy with yourself as the person that you are.  Be happy with yourself, it makes all the difference.  I promise.

Guys, big news.  I AM GOING TO THE LUKE BRYAN CONCERT NEXT MONTH.  Well, it's 36 days to be completely exact, March 22nd.  I am so excited!  Like you have no idea how excited I am!  It is going to be amazing!  Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line are opening for him....oh my gosh.  That's like two more sets of people that I love, PLUS LUKE BRYAN.  Oh, Luke Bryan.  He's something, that's for sure.

Speaking of music, I promised you guys to show you some of the music that I listen to, and that I really love.  I thought that it might be cool for me to share with you the songs that I have recently listened to, whether that be on Youtube or from my personal cache of music.  So, here's the last ten songs I've listened to:
  1. Cruise - Florida Georgia Line
  2. Hard To Love - Lee Brice
  3. Don't Want This Night To End - Luke Bryan
  4. Cowboys and Angels - Dustin Lynch
  5. The One That Got Away - Jake Owen
  6. Only Way I Know - Jason Aldean, feat. Luke Bryan and Eric Church
  7. Save A Horse - Big and Rich
  8. Don't Leave - Ministry of Magic
  9. Saving Unity - Everember
  10. Flyover States - Jason Aldean
Right now, I am currently listening to Real Good Man by Tim McGraw.  Just so you all know, I love Tim McGraw.  He's great too.  :)  Now looking over this post, I'm realizing that it's a bit odd, and kind of random, but I never promised that it wouldn't be.

I hope you all are having an absolutely amazing Valentine's Day!  I hope that you are spending time with those who love you, or at least have talked to them if you can't be with them!  If you're determined that absolutely nobody loves you or is thinking about you today, then guess again, because I LOVE YOU ALL!  :)  You are all amazing people, and I am virtually sending you a hug.  Thanks for reading you guys!  I have a surprise for all of you, it should be up this weekend.  So keep an eye out for that!

On a really serious note, I have a family friend who had been cancer free for about a year now.  Well, recently she was diagnosed with her brain cancer again, but this time on both sides, instead of just one like the first time.  If you would please keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers, I would really appreciate that and that would mean a lot.

 Have a good day!
